I think human children can climb trees just as well as monkeys. Most of us lose that ability when we get older cause our bodies change or cause we become heavier than monkeys or because we do not practice our tree climbing skills. As a 5 year old, me and all my 5 year old friends would climb trees in our local neighbourhood. Back then neighbourhoods were safe, and you did not need parents to watch you every second of the day. At age 7, even climbing monkey bars were hard cause I got used to normal living where you sit in chairs and not in bushes or trees.

i used to climb trees a lot when I was a kid. Once I went to a party in another town. It was one of these parties in a field with a lot of underage kids drinking. I drank a few beers and I saw this really big oak tree. I climbed it pretty high. I was looking around at the kids around a bonfire. I had to pee so I just peed while I was up in the tree. All of a sudden I could hear girls laughing from below and one of them said it was raining out.

I did it many times as a kid

The last time I climbed up the tree, I fell down, and as an effect, I spent a long time in the hospital. I wouldn't recommend :D

Climbed them and fell out of them big ones my fav. to climb was douglas fir super easy and way tall 80 feet and bigger

I'm sorry about that. I personally have never climbed up a tree because i have a knee issue that has always prevented me from doing so. 👋

No never. I used to prefer hiding inside them when the tree in question had leaves or vegetation all the way down to the ground.
