I've done a few. Grafting tomatoes onto a potato is interesting and grafting roses for a strong root can be rewarding.

I knew a guy who grafted oranges, lemons, grapefruit and limes onto a single rootstock because he only had space for one tree. The fruit was incredible!

I have several apple trees in my back yard and I've grafted several different varieties onto one tree

I’ve never done this before. I had to google grafting first to understand. The most I’ve done is propagating house plants.

  That is close enough.
  I mostly graft different flowers into 1 plant.

I've never done it myself. But all of our fruit trees were grafted onto dwarf stock and a few of them have more than one variety grafted onto them.

I did :). Mangoes and Roses are only made into new cultivars with that.
I don't like it because it requires very careful technique. I now usually buy new plants:)
