My grandpa was reading fairytales to me and I liked acting them out, I liked playing being a pirate, running to the nearby countryside and cutting some weird plants that looked like a pirate would own them. I was lighting them up and smoking as well. Itโs funny cause I hate smoking.
I loved running and was fast at it, I was also a champion of bike racing and often rode a bike or was competing with neighborโs boys.
I liked arm wrestling as well, mostly because I was so slim and cute and I liked to deceive the boys and then beat them in the wrestling,I was swimming in rivers, I also played war games, rode a horse, did the archery, helped my grandparents pick the fruits.
Those were my summers, during the year I was back in the capital city, living a normal boring life, sometimes sneaking away to the river or a faraway railway station with broken trains and I liked to imagine I was in an adventure movie.
I also had a funeral of my dog several times, in truth he lived for 18 years but we were preparing his grave since he was 12, sounds cruel, we did it out of love though, we heard dogs live to 12 and we thought we were being respectful by holding his funerals. Thankfully he lived a long life and we were by his side when I was 11 and he was 18. I am happy to know that he knew we were there and we loved him.
I also lied my cousins that if they put coins in the soil the money tree would grow and then I enjoyed buying lollipops with those coons 😂😂😂😂

I guess the closest thing it would be to would be dodgeball except with 3 people. One on each end and one in the middle. You take many socks, like 4-7 and wrap them into each other to create a ball the size of a hand.
Then you toss the back a couple of rounds back and forth. Once it tracks momentum, the goal is to hit the person in the middle. HARD! The harder the better. And the person in the middle is suppose to dodge it to the best of their ability.
Target practice with BB and Pellet guns. Play with my GI Joe, PlayMobil, Fisher Price sets outside, either in the woods, near the creek or in the abandoned sandpit next door.
I also liked swimming at the Provincial Park, fishing and snorkeling in Georgian Bay.
Being outside 🤣. Playing out in the streets, play marbels (i was very good), riding my bicycle, shopping (we had to drive about 40 mintes to the popular places), playing โฝ, and all the things we used to do back in the 80's and 90's. I miss the old days

Talking and walking the neighborhood with all my friends on a random Saturday afternoon as a teenager. It might take me two years to schedule that nowadays with all of them.
Probably making mud pies. I would grab the hose and wet the dirt probably splashing myself more than the soil. Then I would grab a shovel, put the mud in a random bucket, turn it over where the sun was and let it bake. It would always crumble after but it was a fun thing to do to pass time.
Baseball, kickball, watergun fights and riding on the swingset
I used to take the hose, turn the water on full power and pretend like I was painting the whole house! It would turn darker once the water was on it. Sure was a cool thing to do when it was so hot outside.
My best friend and I would go for long walks, but a coke when we found a shop and cover minimum 8 miles.
During school holidays I'd go to my grandparents' homes in Dorset or Yorkshire and go walking with my dad. Those would be eight hour walks covering Ilkley Moor in Yorkshire and Hambledon Hill in Dorset. We'd walk five miles to get to the hill, roughly a mile and a half over it, then five miles home.
Good times. There was not the one thing. We did a lot. Running through the woods, riding our bikes, sneaking into construction sites, building a hut or tree-house, playing badminton or table tennis, going to the movies...
nothing bc if I interacted with my cousins and relatives at my age back then they would bully me and I always ended up crying , and with other kids at my skl or neighborhood I would stay home bc I was shy and I didn't have friends , until now I only have one friend I hangout with at skl but next year she's leaving so I don't know if im going to be lonely again 👍🏻
Jump on the trampoline. My friends and I would make up cheers and preform them for eachother on the trampoline doing tricks and stuff, was a weekend ritual until one of my friends misjudged a flip and wacked her teeth on the metal bar. Fucked her teeth up bad.
I would go ask all of the kids on my street to come play and weโd play something like manhunt or go ride our bikes around the lake and try to do jumps in the sand.
Good times.Searching the fantastic world of the magical forest outside my house! I had MANY adventures there! Until there was a forest fire and developers took it over!
Nothing other than just hanging out with my neighbor. Although, if I were alone, then it would be shooting hoops or riding my bike.
Playing in the creek. Collecting frogs/tadpoles and those small little menoe fish to put in our little backyard pond. Doing all of that with my brother.
Go clandestinely roaming corporate woods, strip mines and abandoned buildings.
My Mother would have SHIT if she knew how dangerous it had been!~ ;)Playing in the mountains, in the streams, running around rice paddies, played outside with other kids, catching butterflies, dragonflies, played with my dogโฆ just free! Was the best childhood!
I grew up in the country so we rode bikes and played in the woods and rode four wheelers and camped out.
Ride my bike. 💞

Fish, ride bikes and play sports with my crew.
