I might have said mortgage bills but our mortgage bills are automatically debited from our checking accounts.
All I see are receipts sent via e-mails.
Fortunately, our main residence will be paid off next month, after only 4 years.
The other mortgages will soon follow suit as well.
My electric bill. It's an envelope I hate to see come in the mail. But last month I didn't have to pay anything for my electric. Something about the Cares Act? I'll take free 🙂
One? Only ONE?
Income Tax. The government taxes what we spend on food, fuel, transport and even death and inheritance that they already taxed.
Solution: off grid, grow own food, travel by horse, when you die let family bury you under the veg patch...
I agree with letting your family bury you for cheap in a decent place (maybe not the backyard of someone's house someday) but really the rest isn't even feasible...
The government (of any country) really needs to work on how they allocate & take taxes though!
A century ago you didn't need to get permission to catch fish for dinner. Or hunt for food. You could decide how big you needed your house to be and build on what you needed. Almost everyone had a horse and literally everyone had at least a vegetable patch and two or three chickens for meat and eggs outside the city.
Now you have to pay for a license to fish. Another to hunt. And no matter how big your family is the government says how many fish you can catch and what you can hunt.
They decide how big you can make your house. Even if your grandparents bought the land outright the government takes a tax on it's current value - or it takes the land.
BUT...
I've got friends living off grid already. Bees, cows or goats for milk and meat, chickens for meat and eggs and a quarter acre per adult per year grows plenty of fruit and vegetables. One of them is getting pigs now his fruit trees are bigger.
If I hadn't lost my leg in 2020 I'd be doing it already. It's more feasible than most people think because the propaganda machine tells people it's difficult. It's hard physically but our great grandparents and before called it normal life.
They've even allowed companies like Monsanto to patent seeds so you can get fined for growing your own food in your own land.
LAWYERS! It's signing a blank check! If Congress really cared about the citizens it would pass a law that lawyers have to quote a flat fee at the beginning of every service. But they never will because most of them are lawyers! Corruption at its finest.

Money I foolishly borrowed for a very bad investment. paying off other bills, at least I received something for it - a great vacation trip, food, utilities, cell phone and internet communications, you name it. But this particular bill is a reminder of a very bad decision I made.
Anything where I feel exploited. So the mudt-have stuff. Rent, electricity, dumb mandatory charges, so on. The ones that are also typically price inflated and ask you to pay an extortive amount for what you are getting.
Other stuff that I add for luxury I am opting into. Much happier to pay those.
I'll go with rent though. Its usually the largest singular bill.
The bill I have to pay to be registered as a house seeker, the waiting lists are basically infinite and at minimum 10 years long. If you stop paying they kick you off and you have to start from 0. Its basically extortion from the fact we have a housing crisis.
you have to pay a bill to be allowed to look for a house?
I really don't hate paying any of the bills. They all provide some sort of service for me.
There is one bill that I don't enjoy paying, and that's my HOA dues. Why? Because that money mostly goes to other people in the HOA community, specifically those who don't take care of their property, so the HOA has to take care of it for them. I regularly do the little maintenance things myself, so the HOA doesn't have to, yet my HOA dues don't pay me anything to do that.
Mortgage.
The best thing you can do, other than saving, for your retirement is to pay off your mortgage. Don’t pay rent either.
I grew up watching old, White, farts, retire and then go buy that big, ass Cadillac because they paid their house off.
My Life Storage which is a Temperature Control Storage Unit for my pPecious Things. I miss Them right now!!! lolxxoo
Car insurance.
It’s not bad, but it’s always the one I forget about even though they send me so many emails which I also hate.
Property tax. I don't have kids and I get shite for fire/police services out here, but every year they tack on another 10%
Property tax on my summer home. It is expensive and I do not use any of the services like the schools, snow plowing or trash pickup.
I don't hate paying any bill, but mortgages are always a little sad because they make such a big number in the account go *poof* in seconds.
State taxes. My state is becoming more and more like California.
My youngest daughter's clothes... and I can't even use them... she is much taller than me...
In Australia - GAS , and by this I mean natural gas for heating and cooking , its simply crazy expensive.
Question for the OP - What is one bill you LOVE paying?
Everything to sustain my skinbag.
What I would hate the most is wasting money on gold diggers.
Electric and water. If taxes pay for utilities, then why are they monthly bills?
Car insurance, seems like a waste and it’s so much and never had a claim, and you never see anything from it
I have two bills property taxes and a water bill with an under ground leak
There aren't any bills I don't like paying, especially when they're a woman's bills.
Gasoline! Complete scam and ripoff. Pricing has NO rhyme or reason! Basically, rolling the dice!
TV licence. I don't watch TV, no idea why I even have one. Maybe I'll get Netflix one day, maybe not.
I don’t hate paying bills, I accept them as part of #adulting
