There's a pistol in nearly every room, but honestly by the time people made it INTO the house it's probably not a surprise to us anymore. Master suite is reinforced and the rifles and antimaterial are in there. I also have area denial capabilities at chokepoints in the house.

With steel or with fire, the rescue kittens will be protected, no matter what the cost.

Bow and arrows, Handgun, Rifles, Knives, Pepper Spray.  Used to have 3 Great Danes and an Irish Wolfhound, but they all passed away. they were intimidating!

humor and wit? money... throw cash at 'em... if that doesn't work, give them motorcycle. usually have some hot water around to splash em.  after that, just gonna fight and probably die on the spot.

I keep a few of my guns loaded, have a 10mm pistol in a holster and a round in the chamber I use for walking the dog at night, a 10.5 inch pistol AR-15 with a brace and 30 rounds of 69gr.223 remington in the magazine, equipped with a light and a 3 power optic and a slight, then finally my CZ Scorpion pistol with a brace in 9mm with a red dot and a light.

Not to forget the rest of my arsenal lol.
