Why is it considered a douche thing to wear sunglasses indoors and/or at night? And are you someone who does that?

It's douchey because sunglasses are meant for wearing outside to protect your eyes from the sun. They serve no purpose inside, so for people who wear them indoors it is for the purpose of vanity only, and it winds up coming off as unnecessarily pretentious, ostentatious and vain. Like they are trying to look "cool", draw attention, or project some perceived image of themselves. Much like in the picture used for this question.
Unless someone has an ocular condition, there's no need to wear sunglasses indoors... unless you're a douche. lol
Reporter: “Why are you wearing sunglasses at night?”
Mark Duper: “Because the sun never sets on the cool.”

I wear mine at night and indoors, but only in my own home.

It is something that people do just to prove how fucking cool they are. "Hey, everybody! Look at me! Look at how cool I am!" Get the idea?
There was one girl in my class who got scolded by one of her professors for doing it, and she explained it's because her eyes are sensitive to the light. I find it kind of funny how medical reasons is literally the last thing anyone, including myself, would think of
I won't say it's a douche thing but it does seem weird to wear it at night or indoors as what is the purpose of it, other than to show that you either bought a new pair or you think it looks classy.
As for your second question, no I don't wear sunglasses as most of the time I am wearing my regular glasses.
For me, it's just that it'd be a lot harder to see, therefore one would be more hazardous, slow and/or needing more help than if not wearing them.
When I became a celebrity personality, I wondered if ever there would come a day when I would wear my sunglasses inside. After my first Oscars, I understood immediately why. Blinding flashes. Secondly, a big pair of sunglasses helps keep a lower profile. Thirdly, there is a cool effect. It's ego sometimes. Other times, practical.
I got a really nice pair of RayBans long time ago and I used to wear them indoors especially in a bar. . I thought it looked cool but looking back I sort of cringe little bit.
Well, I mean it's pretty weird to begin with.. It just makes you look like a douche I guess.. LOL..
I've never ever had any issue with it... and it doesn't bother me at all, lol
Because it's generally not necessary and the people who do it typically just want to look cool, which comes off as trying too hard to look cool.
It’s strange because you’re inside and obviously can’t see too well and looks like you’re trying to hide something. If it’s at night then you can’t see anything at all so what exactly are they doing? Looks suspicious actually
because it looks like you're very desperate to look cool
It seems a bit excessive, but for some it's a medical need, for example, Bono.
Because its just wrong. So no I don't
