Sometimes I gotta distance myself from certain individuals for a while which it's possible they take personal cause I don't tell em shit but ey this crap is a curse 😂

Sort of? I am able to be into someone easily if we, but I am also able to cut it off easily as well.

For me, the issue I had till a few years ago guessing you experience is that you think about the person too much. It's an easy habit to get into, but I noticed two things that stopped it:
- Staying busy
- Be okay with you two not being compatible, so standing up for your needs in a relationship - being yourself. Nah, you won't be completely okay with it, but enough to be "prideful" about it 😂

but I have experience... most of my best and close friends are women, and they're all kinds of amazing too, so I am used to separate infatuation from admiration, friendship and feels and all that stuff

but this is also something that happened over time and through the years...

back in middle-school... it was a bit different, lol... had the biggest crush on that one girl that first got close to me

- whatever you were thinking was going to go wrong, or very wrong or would suck... it ended NOT happening

and/or

- if whatever you thought would go wrong and sucked... it won't be that bad really and you will survive it anyway, learn from it, get used to it... lol

every time, it will be easier to handle and/or will suck less and less

yes... it did for me, lol

because either, you become immune to it, or numb... or you do get over it way quicker, which is good too

and in the best case scenario, you do stop yourself before you actually catch feelings at all.. and can still engage with these amazing ladies, lol

i got some mental illnesses that got me acting like a child sometimes lol like ptsd is one

i might overreact over your mistakes and mine if it's like a trigger so im projecting it. you break a glass in the sink and im there i'm pissed. if i broke a glass and its like your glass then im apologizing and sobbing like a baby. or like if you're overly nice i don't believe it and gotta stop myself from being stupid like pulling away. it's one big headache

Either ways that doesn't really sound like big difficulties tho, you just sound highly emotional in your own unique way, that might not even come from mental illness Memey, it just sounds like personality traits, the traits and even imperfections is what makes us unique, these are the things that will make you stand out of a crowd and what you'll be remembered for, even if you don't like to be remembered for it, it's what makes you different from others, which stands out. Ha

ik you're being nice but i gave you like quick examples bc im not proud about it

ptsd is like where your brain gets triggered and reliving the trauma so your body's forced to react. you might not know when it happens till later. so i could be a huge dick or emotional, not know why, but experience an episode panicking later that day. so like that 1st story i don't have anger issues but i reacted like i did yelling at him and shaking bc of my body thinking im back where trauma happened

im difficult in relationships bc it can be like very toxic for the guy im dating. im not saying it to throw like a pity party lol im just saying it how it is

So it's like a strong case of PTSD, what caused it? Cause there should be a way to control it better isn't there? But I believe if the person knows you have PTSD then it shouldn't be too big of a problem right? Did you ever tell your partners you had it cause if they didn't know they could just think you were tripping when you weren't 🤔

its like a variety of stuff but bad childhood

you can improve it but it's a really long process and not guaranteed. a lot of it's like finding what works for you personally. rn that's getting high lol it helps me not be so hypervigilant especially for sleeping. yeah they knew but they didn't always know why i was upset and ik they got exhausted by it like in general.

They should've created a technique to break the moodiness, you see if you are angry and it's normally just mood swings from your PTSD then maybe it's possible to reverse the effects with a certain action, I'd say an action that's hard to stay mad at, I'd say an effective one would be reaching out for a hug, you can't get mad at that right Memey, giving you a long hug until you feel better, sounds effective to me 🤣

so like it's recognizing my triggers and telling him so we both try to ignore them. if im losing my shit like im panicking, can't breathe, and maybe experiencing flashbacks then grounding me is a way to go

Does meditation not work in a situation like that, for example if I told you to look me in the eyes, blank your mind and just inhale through the nose and out the mouth? I feel like this technique would come in handy no? 🙃

meds are weird bc some don't work. they're supposed to be taken while doing therapy and changing your life but it's never that simple. i usually like end up where i started doing that

looking in the eyes no lol but breathing yeah. grounding is like using all your senses. so i might count numbers in a pattern, name stuff in my room, or like things i can touch/hear/taste. all that while taking deep breaths. idea is start doing this stuff if i feel an episode coming so stopping it before im fucked
