Do you answer when you can or do you wait to answer for "game" or whatever?

I always answer when I can and I'm very straight forward. I think playing games is a waste of time but I know some people do.

Some questions are easy to answer. Some ask for some joke or just a comment.

Some (like this) need me to think about what I want to share and in what form. Sometimes, I need to do some research to refresh my memory; sometimes, I struggle with the language (English is not my first or even second language).

So it depends on the question. And partially my mood. Sometimes I'm more chatty, sometimes I'm not :D

Used to answer not to fast since I didn't want to come across desperate, turns out she really really hated that and it almost cost me the girl when years later she told me she hated that and was afraid i'd do it again at some point.

So I learnt not to ever do that again, if she's really a good fit for me she'd be as eager to message as I am. So might as well message.

The irony is that I didn't even want to myself, I did it out of fear of loosing such an amazing girl since I was told if you overdo it it gets clingy / annoying. So there is also a deeper part to it of me just being myself at all times, and the one moment i deviate from that is when my perfect fit loves me less.

depends on what I am answering to, but in general, yes... I do answer as soon as I see the question, sometimes I do take a bit more of time... if the question is deeper, or if I do have to give it a thought or two...

but, either the case, sooner or later... I will answer genuinely, no games

I've always answered when I can. I've never played the game and think it's just for sheep. If a girl doesn't message me for days, I immediately assume she's not interested and/or probably has many guys she's more interested in her inbox. Everyone has at least 30 minutes a day to message you at least a few times. It doesn't take a lot of effort.

Not into games. But people unfortunately like to be treated with low priority. The kinds of judgements and assumptions for replying whenever possible (at times very quickly) that follow are ridiculous and petty.

Well if you play games then you clearly are into them in one way or another. And those people who like to be treated like less has issues

I know people play games to make themselves feel better, seek validation and/or just enjoy attention. Not every game results into them getting what they desire out of other party too.
I don't know why would people be into playing games with someone they're clearly into unless, like you said, they have issues or are trying to compensate for something lacking in their personality in order to present themselves as more desirable.

The best way would be accepting the flaws of the party you're interested in and letting them accept yours. It's risky to sugarcoat stuff and let them find out later. It might make the relation uneasy.
