I’m about a 2 or 3, depends on what calls.
You can also tell if a time you were brave. I was brave when I moved 2 states away, alone in a car with 3 pets. I had no other choice.

Brave enough to have jumped in a fight between a friend of mine and the entire class including the strongest guys. I was neutral in that fight so I stood in between, since he rightfully pissed off the entire class but I didn't want him to get beat up either. I didn't think much about it, was an instinct.

I'm not very brave. I think I was a lot dumber when I was younger. But does being dumb make you brave? I think not fully thinking through the ramifications of things is not bravery.🤣

But I do consider myself RELENTLESS when I really want something or when I care about somebody or something. I don't consider this bravery. Because the loss of something or somebody you really care about can be more painful then fear.

1= not brave at all, 5 is fearless. Yes, I agree with "... the loss of something... can be more painful than fear." But fear is not necessarily connected to courage. Is it? I mean when you are brave--there is no fear in your heart. you just go without thinking.

Well you never give it time for the fear to develop. As far as fear not being connected to brave, you don't typically see top without a bottom. Or and up without a down. Or an in without an out.

I'm not sure if it bravery or trust in your training, your partners and equipment but I guess I would have to say a 5.
There have been a few times where I paused and thought to myself this may not end well, but off we went.
No one calls us because they are having a good day.
