How brave are you really?

That picture is something. Assuming that's really true (I've seen pictures like that where it's a rock outcrop just above some grass and the photograph was just cleverly taken so you don't see that she's not that far up) then she's stupid, not brave. There's a difference.
As for me, sometimes. I cry at shots (jabs) and blood draws. I'm not that bold while driving.
But I'll run into a fire to make sure people are out (I've had to do it); I've gone towards the flood on a ship; I don't mind going into dark, spooky places. I'll stand up to people on behalf of others.
I think that depends entirely on what situation we're talking about as well as the nature of the risk/danger.
I wouldn't be "brave" enough to sit on that rock-ledge... because there's no good reason for me to need to do that.
I wouldn't be brave if it was possible/acceptable to walk away from the fight.
But there's nothing in this world I would be too scared to do for the people I love. If that's what had to be done/faced.
When it counts. I'm as brave as brave gets.
Not brave, just stupid. I freak out when a spider is within a four foot radius of me. On the other hand, I've said some risky things to some important people without realising what I've done. I'd like to think I am no longer like that, but who knows lol
It's not uncommon around here for dogs to plummet to their doom off cliffs. Dogs are dumb, they don't under the danger. That woman isn't brave, she's an idiot.

Not THAT brave! That appears nearly suicidal. I have made a few sport parachuted jumps on a rip cord, never 'free fall'. I have a single engine pilots license, and have made 30+ dives in the pacific as deep as 100' plus. I am not fool hearty enough to sit on the edge of a cliff 1000' above the ground.
From pre-teen on, a literally 'life skill ' is managing 'risk vs. potential reward/consequence'.
"Free Will" is freedom-to-choose NOT freedom FROM the consequences!
EVERY 'Prey' animal IS 'prey' BECAUSE its only considering IMMEDIATE short-term 'opportunities' and discounting the greater circumstances present or pending! Predators LEARN this by observation of their elder Peer or parent's example & consequences~
Not one for heights, so I would have to change my underwear after being out on an outcrop similar to what is in the picture above.👀
I would have to change 6 underwears before even reaching that edge š¤£š¤£š¤£
@HaveNoName I'm hearing ya!š
kind of, i'd like to think i'd be brave if i'm ever in a situation where i had to be and if i had to do something i'd be brave enough to do so probably, but i'm too cautious to be brave enough to go cliff on a cliff like in the pic haha
I have a healthy fear of heights, but I have done things, because they needed doing at the time, without thinking about it for too long. To date, it has served me well, I am still alive. Thinking about them in hindsight, I would be afraid and not sure I could do them again.

I was just about to say, it was just a certain angle shot.
Just looking at that picture is making me sick to my stomach. Definitely not me.
fought in Vietnam Jumped out of Airplanes , I don't know not ver y brave
Braver than social media narcissists...
Uhhh... no thank you. (Going by pic)
I wouldn't do that. Nope. I'm not scared of heights but that is a little to much.
I would never sit on a cliff like that picture. I have done some brave things by having to get over my fear. Sometimes I have done some really stupid things just because I was showing off.
I don't know. I've never been tested really.
The person in the pic isn't brave, just stupid... or drunk off of moonshine.
Anyway, it varies. If dealing with a man or woman that looks like he/she can kick my ass, I'll be mildly sarcastic instead of highly sarcastic.
Relatively so, but that's less bravery and more a combination of stubbornness, anger and apathy to my own survival.
Very brave when I don't think about it. Not brave at all when thinking about it. In some situations you just move.
EXACTLY!
Define bravery? Doing crazy things for an adrenaline rush, or going outside my comfort zone and expanding my horizon?
I mean I stood up to my boss and told him an idea of his was a terrible idea I've been told that took some stones to do but then again I get nervous just calling the pizza guy so theirs that
I'm brave, not careless. I'll skydive, but not sit on the edge like the pic.
Not sure! I take risks in life with eyes wide open but avoid stupid adventures so I guess not adventurous? :-)
I went completely nude on a clothing optional beach at age 40ā¦..
I am very brave... but I might be more stupid than I am brave
a man... after all
Iām pretty forward about what I want without being obnoxious or creepy about it.
I think you mean stupid. This is why young people tend to do the most risk taking. They're not smart enough to stop and contemplate all the implications of thier choice. Nope instead they just say, "hold my beer". 😆😆😆
It that photo is real, is not brave - it's dumb.
Quite brave, but less willing to deal with the potential side effects from poor decision making lol
I'm brave but not that brave! I want to go to the mountains and look down, but never down a things like that!
not brave at all.
i hate myself for it wish i was more brave so i could go up to women.
I get dizzy just looking at that pic.
You never know until you're really tested.
Oh that's scary
Maybe scary is relative, and possibly she is more afraid of something else, and suicidal. In that case, the person on the photo is not brave and rather the opposite because she's running away from the other scarier thing, even though, it's less dangerous.
For heights Iām not brave
I'm not. I wouldn't sit there.
I think I would enjoy that!
I'm moderately brave. I am not insane.
I'm a coward.
not at all
Not really brave
