I aim to be joyful by my own nature. Even without some immediate transactional cost, who knows what costs are required to shape various things. If you can't build it with your hands, you can't see what's required. Nothing external would satisfy anyway, because that which has a beginning and an end is by definition, temporary.

I wouldn't know how this things would work (if it was real).

Like say if you wish to be rich, if that means someone else has to become poor.
How it would be possible to make such wishes, unaware of the consequences.

But if you actively wish for others to be poor is a different thing.

I mean potentially same result.
But different intent.

But if it was real, it just seems like a bad idea.
Like a short sighted gain.

Sort of if like you borrowed a million dollars today to spend on vacations and hobbies and whatever you like.
But in 5 years time you have to pay back 2 million.

A sort of enjoy yourself now, suffer later kind of deal.

Maybe they are just bored and want to be entertained. Maybe one day when they are all done granting your wishes they will consume it and become more powerful.

I enjoy being alive and myself as a whole, including my soul, my skills and abilities...

I do not believe that one can sell one's soul. If you did that, you would be owned by another being. And all your wishes would be controlled by that being. It would be a dumb thing to do, unless that being is God.
