This kind of philosophy seems rather naïve to me. Still, there are genuine religious people deserving respect. For them this may have some real meaning, like learning to liberate one's mind from attachment to material stuff. But in order to save one's soul? Sorry, that doesn't make any sense to me, except feeling better, which does not mean giving a part of one's riches to help people in need would be useless. In any case every good deed helps the world to become a better place.

No ones doubting the idea of her question coming from that book I got that but nowhere in Joy's question or updates does it say the word bible, yaway "or however you spell that God's name" or the zombie dude who got nailed. She could be Christian, Muslim or sun god worshipper for all we know given the info within the question and updates what we do know however is she's asking a question that If it was possible to save your soul from death (which I think means immortal) would you do it?
