Do you find SmackDown from 1999 with Stone Cold, Taker, Rock, Kane, and Mankind better than Smackdown currently with La Knight and Roman Reigns?

I feel Smackdown from ‘99 was very much entertaining with bigger stars and legends in that time who people would be genuinely be interested like Stone Cold, The Rock, Triple H, Undertaker, Kane, Mankind, Big Show, New Age Outlaws, and many other stars from that time were young and prime back then than the ones they have like the LWO Escobar, Austin Theory, Grayson Waller The Brawling Brutes, and others like that. I know it was two different eras but I would favor the one ‘99 that kept you interested besides the bloodline storyline everyone seems to tune into in smackdown now , everything else on the show not so much.

What are your opinions for those who followed wrestling for years?

Absolutely. Pro wrestling has pretty much been done now. There was the time when the kayfabe was protected and you had shorter matches that seemed more official. Then you had the era with Hulk Hogan and all those other cartoonish type characters like Millionaire Man, Sgt Slaughter, Big Boss Man and Ultimate Warrior. After that it went to a kind of teen targeted era with gang like stables such as the NWO led by the reinvented “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan. From there it got more risqué with wise guy personalities like The Rock, Chris Jericho and Vince McMahon himself getting people to kiss his bare buttocks on live television. For this type of entertainment, that was really the crescendo. Ever since that 1999-2006 period it has been in steady decline.

So yes, SmackDown from 1999 was far more entertaining than the current day snooze fest with mediocre personalities like Roman Reigns and L. A Knight who are basically sleeping pills with arms and legs compared to the dynamic and charismatic personas of the past.

Oh okay how was it like watching wrestling back in the late 90s during which was the attitude era? I really wished i was around to watch it with those guys in their prime like wcw had the nwo

I watched Hulk Hogan and all the other former WWE wrestlers over there plus later on, I watch the rock, Steve, Austin mankind all those people
