Personally, in terms of business, this is their absolute peak. They just sold out like 15 shows in a row (and are still counting). We just had the highest gate sellout in raw history, and night 1 of Mania 40 broke WWE’s all-time single-night gate record in their history. They got the Netflix deal too; apparently, their prime deal is also their biggest, like a sponsorship deal ever or something like that. This is literally peak business for them, but as far as entertainment, where would you rank it next to the attitude era? Like, let’s say the attitude era is a 10/10 or 9/10. What would you give this current era under HHH a rating of so far?
It's becoming more and more strange to me and i'm becoming more like a stranger in wwe...
I mean sometimes i enjoy their show but as wrestling fan since the early 90's when i was a kid till this day, a lot had happened!
I was a fan of wwe before the attitude era haha and even before the rock's 1st match when he looked like a clown 🤣
I surely am more attached to the old WWE which was WWF backthen and i was a big fan of WCW...
These kids will never reach the status of fame as the old stars, remember when the whole world knew who hulk hogan was or the undertaker or randy savage or bret hitman hart, or razor ramon... etc there was no internet, no social media, no nothing, just a lame small colored t. v and these immortals are still known to this generation...
I believe that the attitude era was the peak and the last time where wwe's superstars are carved in people's minds! Now it's just a show and superstars just comes and goes, this is why they always bring someone from the old days to their major PPV events!
If you smell what the rock is cooking 😂

I honestly couldn’t say. I watched WWE during the attitude era but I don’t watch it now. I don’t watch AEW either. I’m just not an active follower of professional wrestling anymore so it would be an uninformed comparison if I were to make one.
However if I were to humour you, I would say today’s product is better from the little I have seen. Back in the Attitude era, it was mostly aimed at producing shock value and comedy. We had a guy they called “Sexual Chocolate” who was an African American strongman competitor who presented himself as a playboy. There was an angle where he impregnated a septuagenarian former female wrestler and she gave birth to a hand. I can remember another one where they would show staged closed circuit television footage of back stage areas and from this, a match was set up between the “Big Show” Paul Wight and “The Big Valbowski” (a play on the film The Big Lebowski) Val Venis whose character was based on a male porn star after he was shown pissing at the urinals next to Big Show and teasing Big Show about having a small penis. A lot of the show was presented in a similar vein. On top of this, the female wrestlers didn’t compete with a very deep roster and were blatantly presented as nothing more than eye candy often being used in “vibrator on a pole” or “bra and panties” matches where the winner was the one who successfully stripped her opponent down to her bra and panties. Another staple of the era was Vince McMahon having the wrestlers literally kiss his bare butt cheeks on live television. I mean in that regard, if the attitude era was a 4/10 then todays product is an 8. It was just trash TV and a lot of people look back on it with rose tinted glasses.
I used to watch RAW with my dad every Monday when I wad a kid. It's definitely gotten better since HHH took the reins. There's a larger variety of characters. Women are now part of the main events and have better storylines. And lately it's been revamped since Rock has been in the picture. I was taken aback with him dropping a few F bombs after years of PG language.
It's not AS good as the Attitude Era, but it seems like it's taking steps to rekindle that energy.
Side note:
I have Rhea's theme on my Playlist for all of my workouts 😆
my dad did and still watches WWE kinda
he thinks it dropped off after stone cold and the rock left. ik after jeff hardy left or was fired or whatever in 09 he said it sucked even more. it's been while since i heard him rant about it but i remember that lol

No comparison, it was a lot better back then and the only reason it gets good at times now because when the rock comes back. Getting kind of tired of the Usos the bloodlines, but I like Roman reigns. I just wish he would wrestle a lot more instead of pay-per-views only. I watch every Monday night and every Friday I don’t miss any shows I record them on my DVR it’s disappointing that all the pay-per-view’s are on Peacock, which only goes to a computer. I don’t have a computer I used to go out to Buffalo wild wings to watch the wrestling pay-per-view ever since they made the WWE network. It’s been disappointing for me because I don’t like doing things on a little tiny cell phone on an 8 inch tablet watching shows like that.
Going to PG rating was a mistake. The "tough" guts of today would be turned into meat paste by Chainsaw Charlie and Cactus Jack going full tilt - and that's before Stone Cold drops them with a stunner. Undertaker at his prime wouldn't break a sweat today.
There is more population now than back then so it is easier to sell out those same arenas because of more people overall.
If the Attitude era is considered a 10, and Ruthless Aggression a 9, then the mid 2000s to late 2010s is a 3, I would rate the recent couple years a 7.
I like the new era and I believe Roman Reigns will be back, but you know his name is Joe, and he has a history of cancer of the blood, so maybe that came back on him. Lord only knows, I don't wish no bad on no one battling a long term cancer of the blood, that is an ugly disease.
Well I think right now it's definitely the most fun since the ruthless aggression era.. but I don't think it's going to be like the golden days.. tbh wwe is an outdated product , watching performers doing silly scripts and gimmicks while kayfabe is long dead and they're totally different people in real life , and some of them are well known in other stuff... that is just.. silly ! Lol.. I only keep up from time to time because of nostalgia and reminiscing...
Thankfully, I don't know anyone that watches overgrown men in underwear pretending to fight each other.
Nothing will beat the attitude era but this era is pretty sweet
Not even close in any measure but at least I turned it on to watch the last two PPVs after 3 years.
I like the “Triple H Era”
Disappointed
