i might be the worst in serious situations cuz im gonna laugh

Nope. My co-manager and I used to lose it every single meeting we had at work. Meetings were legal stuff, building management stuff, staff stuff, didn't matter. She would just say something and look over at me and I'd lose it or vice versa. It was like a game of who could make the other laugh harder. Our boss literally told us we could not be in the same room when the CEO came to meetings because that would not be good. I remember even when she was quitting to go move to another city with her husband, she was giving a speech of goodbye to everyone which was really sort of sad, and I was giggling. When she walked off and came over to me, she started to giggle too, and then we couldn't stop, so we just faked like we were crying that we were going to miss each other and stepped out of the room to have a good laugh. It really sucked that she left, but I loved that we NEVER took anything seriously. I even managed to make my best friend laugh at her own mothers funeral. I just can't do serious.

Thought I was, until my mother and I discussed my uncle's death and she said something about "falling to death," as a rhetorical possibility.
This is literally what happened to my uncle, but the way she said it was so out of the blue that I ended up having an insane laughing fit.
I felt really bad about it, but couldn't stop the laughter. Luckily, my mother did join in eventually.
It's probably trauma related, since it was a very unpredicted incident, but still, felt very inappropriate.
So no, I don't think I would be fit for remaining serious in situations that might require it.

No. Terrible at suppressing inappropriate laughter, and I have a hard time breaking out of jokester mode. People being serious or serious situations make me uncomfortable, and my crutch is humor. So I’m usually sitting there with a bad joke that wouldn’t be received well when someone is sad/upset, just biting my tongue not to say it and not be selfish about making myself comfortable when someone else is in need of comfort. But I am definitely a “good times guy”, I suck at any kind of extended emotional support for others, I just want everyone to be happy and laughing again.

Yeah but only if I feel that the importance of the situation calls for seriousness. Sometimes other people seem overly serious & it makes me cringe so I might laugh.

No. I inevitably say/do the wrong thing in most social situations, no matter how good my intentions are. This is the part of autism/ASD/Asperger's people don't get. I may mask well and "pass" pretty well in NT society, but I'm still socially-dyslexic and royally fuck up sometimes. (And it's usually when it's a serious moment or the like).

Some people make it very hard not to laugh, but you have to be professional, do your job, then laugh your ass off. So the answer is yes.
We had a call where there was a vacuum cleaner incident.
Something got stuck in the end of the hose, so let's say one of the newer female medics was given the incident for training purposes.
I can still see her eyes burning through us every time she looked at us.

Usually I am but there has been times where I laughed where it was highly inappropriate because it was an extremely serious moment like when me and my best friend got in a car accident we both laughed even though we could have been killed.

I was really bad at this when I was younger. But I if I’m in a situation where laughing is the one thing I cannot do I have to try my hardest not to look at my friends face if they just heard the same thing I did.
