They gave the world illicit drug acceptance, the 'New Age' movement, stupid conspiracy theories, hippies, chronic indebitness (is that a word?), and heaps more!
They're dinosaurs, they no longer belong on this earth. They wrecked everything for all who followed them, and right now the best thing they could do would be to kindly vanish forever, and take their crappy "culture" with them!
You're talking about YOUR generation!! We had peace, love and we shared things with others even if we never met them before! You fuckers are greedy as fuck, all you talk about is money, fucking and killing people! We never had mass killings in our day! You guys have one every other week!! We never tore down statues, looted, sprayed everything with graffiti, smashed cars, glued our hands to the roads, destroyed precious works of art, set entire cities on fire and killed people just because we couldn't get our way!! @FunkyMonkee Anyway, your claims about the younger generations are ridiculous, if only because the vast majority of us (like 99.999% of us) don't do ANY of the things you listed there. What's more, you're seeing the past through rose-tinted glasses. It wasn't all peace and light back when you were young, and assuming you're American, things were quite nasty (ex. Jim Crow laws, lynchings, Vietnam War, McCarthyism, rampant drug use, dreadful music, to list just a few that immediately come to mind).
Really? The blind cannot see that others are also blind. Where were you a few years ago when the summer of hate was happening? Don't you watch the real news or do you believe everything CNN tells you to believe? At our Woodstock, except for a few minor arguments, everything was peaceful, everybody helped each other, even most of the nearby towns people praised the kids on how nice and well behaved they were! At YOUR Woodstock, fights broke out, concession stands were destroyed, massive fires were set, a few of the acts had to stop the show until things settled down, some women were raped. On top of that, your music mostly professed violence and hate! Ours professed love and peace! Jim Crow ENDED in the `60's, thanks in large part to us!! Same goes for Viet Nam! McCarthyism was mostly back in the `50's. Our drug of choice was grass and LSD. It wasn't `til the very late `60's and early `70's that the harder stuff showed up. Today, it's mostly crack, cocaine, heroine, fentanyl and who knows what other shit you've come up with! Snorting Tide pods!! You kids'll stick ANYTHING in your bodies!! If our music was so dreadful, how come most of YOU can't wait to get your hands on more of it? At least we knew how to sing, play instruments and make CREATIVE music that was different from everything else!! All you know how to do is push buttons on a $10.00 Casiotone and get the same boring sounds and disco beats!! Most of your shit sounds like it was played on an electric typewriter and a dictaphone!! Your people can't even sing! They can only TALK in really bad rhymes!! At our concerts, we got live performances!! At yours, you get pre-recorded shit and a stage full of dancers while the supposed star tries to lip sync to their own records!!
There have been ton of decisions made without much regard to how it’ll affect future generations.
I don’t want to blame an entire generation, but there have been a good number of people within that generation that have created many messes that have passed down to the newer generations to deal with.
I believe that sustainability and the ripple effect of decisions on future generations should always be considered.
The boomers are the real greatest generation. They were the ones that developed the modern American way of life. They taught the rest of us to question authority. They were responsible for most of the strides made in technology, culture and music.
Nah, it early boomers were some of the hardest working people.. Right after World War II ended they got to business.. For me it's between Gen X and Gen Z.. They seem like the worst..
@Siri137 I know, it was the silent generation that really was doing the work.. And the boomers who started down the nasty path.. So ultimately I agree.. LOL..
Each generation is worse than the one before -- in general -- but it's easier to blame others for whatever. Actually, the reason I've been successful in life is because whenever I ran into a problem I didn't look at it as a victim but I turned it into a challenge.

If we were faced with another WWII, the current generations wouldn't be able to handle it, and the United States and the comforts you live with would be gone. And they wouldn't be able to rebuild not just their own country but the world after. On top of that, the boomers worked hard and were disciplined and took education seriously, and left us with highly developed radio, television, telephone systems, sanitation, clean water, the cleanest air we've had since the 1700s, food safety, medical advances, air conditioning, cell phones, high performance cars and planes, the internet, e-mail, and texting. The millennials and Gen Z think they are are entitled, and worthy of being movie stars and sports stars and music stars without putting in the work and sacrifice needed. In actuality, they work at Walmart and in office cubicles playing on social media all day, while demanding higher and higher minimum wages for low-skill work that would be getting $5/hr. in a free market.
My take is that when they died, were imprisoned or just retired, they left a power vacuum that subsequent generations have failed to adequately fill. Leading to all manner of average at best nonsense.

The boomers thought the generations before them were horrible, and kids who are being born now are going to think we were horrible when they're our age.
They sure don't vote the way I think they should. They vote for the capitalism, not for the change and breath of socialist fresh air , so as to share the wealth 😔☺️ yet they chose to vote to hog it all to themselves sigh 😔
