Can dogs recognize autism?

Like most of my weird behaviors my dog seems to put up with in ways I feel normal people would get annoyed by

Yeah mate, dogs are pretty intuitive that way. I've heard they can sense all kinds of things humans can't.

Like if you've got autism or whatever, dogs notice the little quirks in your behaviors and mannerisms that make you different. But they don't pass judgment like some people.

Dogs just accept you for who you are 100%. They don't care if you flap your hands or get too obsessed with certain topics. As long as you're kind to them, they'll be kind back no matter what.

Your pup probably realizes you process the world a bit uniquely. But he loves you for you. That's what's so great about dogs - they don't expect you to change or act "normal." They just want pets and attention from their best bud!

Next time you're having a moment and doggo is being extra patient, give him an extra scratch. He deserves it for being such a good mate who understands you perfectly. Chin up yeah? You've got a loyal pal there who accepts you just as you are.

People think dogs are good judges of character and I disagree partially with that statement. Dogs cannot judge virtue and vice, they can only judge affection and hate. I remember I was once sitting next to a highly irritating person I absolutely did not like and the dog I saw wanted nothing to do with me cause it could sense I was angry and hostile. I am not a perfect judge of character but I think I'm a decent person cause I do not get angry or hostile without strong and justifiable reason but the dogs do not know whether your angry for legitimate or illegitimate reasons, it can only sense I'm feeling angry at somebody and based on that sense, it concluded I was a bad person and wanted nothing to do with me.
