Dont you find it sad how so many people always only have fun with alcohol or drugs?

Very much so. It really hit me in college, where at one point I walked out of my bedroom to find my RA standing in the doorway to the kitchen, bent almost double and breathing heavily. I asked if she was okay, and she said she was fine, just having trouble hiding the taste of the mescaline she was taking.

Then and now, I really have to wonder how boring the lives they lead were that they always feel the need to escape them.

I agree, it is very sad. I like having a drink or three, but being drunk doesn't interest me.

If you have a good group of friends, you can even have fun by drinking water! It's sad that people are addicted to drugs...

I rarely drink and don’t do drugs or smoke and I still have fun but lots of people can’t
