Does it kinda freak you out when you kill an insect, especially a big one?

No. If they're gonna attack me for no reason, I have no qualms about attacking them, either.
One afternoon, I was sitting on my singer's from porch waiting for everyone to get ready to go to a gig in Erie (I think) and, while I was sitting on the steps, I was playing Chris's bass. Suddenly, a bee landed on my right elbow. I didn't freak out at all and just allowed it to wander around on my arm. I've been told that if you don't bother it, it won't bother you. BULLSHIT!! It went up the back of my arm and the little motherfucker stung me for no fucking reason!! I wasn't wearing the strap on his bass so, when I stood up the bass fell out of my lap onto the concrete steps!! Luckily, it suffered no damage besides a tiny dent.

I don't like killing things. I try not to.
Once in a while, a wolf spider will turn up in the house. They look like miniature tarantulas. I'm always able to catch them and put them outside.

Thank goodness we don't have cockroaches or anything big and fast that you have to squish if you get a chance.

I kill mosquitos and other annoying flying pests that get in the house. Except for the occasional confused wasp. I'm able to catch those and release them outside.

In the yard, the only things I kill are those that are attacking our veggies. I gladly squish them, but am grossed out by the ones like caterpillars that are juicy.

I once had to kill a water bug - they are giant cockroaches!! Yep, I was just sitting in my chair in my living room and it was crawling on the carpet headed for the kitchen. I thought it was a huge cockroach but my neighbor told me they are called water bugs. I had another one come up out of the drain on my balcony. Thank goodness this time my then boyfriend got rid of him. He was so funny. I remember when he first saw it crawling out of the drain and my then boyfriend looked at it and said "You're mine now"!!
He thought it was a giant cockroach too but I told him it was a water bug. We actually argued about what it was. So I told him to Google it. He had to say I was right and you know how guys don't like to admit they are wrong about something - at least he hated it, I don't mind saying I'm wrong, but the last time I had to do that was back in '65 😎

Well you just inspired me to look up the diff between water bugs and cockroaches. Interesting. Ya learn something every day. They look like roaches but aren't roaches. And they get big. Ewww

I am bigoted against skittery roachy things that look look cockroaches. I would definitely kill any I found in my house. But I do think squishing bugs is gross.

Not really but I try not to kill insects aside from spiders, spiders can go fuck themselves.

Depends what it is , if it’s a nusiance I kill it but try to remove it if I can to outside if it’s a spider
