One thing in particular that I think about everyday , it was someone that my girlfriend was helping with so we helped by donating pet supplies because she had a dog rescue at her home and this lady had a daughter that she adopted and starved her to death , i dont wanna make this too long but i knew something was wrong and my girl kept telling me to drop it because she did not want me to embarass her, I actuly had natilie finn out of her house and natalie did not say anything because she was so scared , so i keep thinking about it because she ran into the right person at the wrong time I know in my mind i would have got her out of there right then even if i had to beat her mom to death I would have her mom nicole finn got lucky with prison time this happened in west des moines iowa this stings hard because I as a child was severly abused like extreme thats why I sensed it

+1 yMore than I would like, but it's definitely more out of curiosity than being emotionally invested in it.

2.8K opinions shared on Other topic. Quite a bit. I have a lifetime of memories from as early as 3 year old. All my experiences made me who I am.
I relate a lot of things in the present to things from the past. Lots of things bring up memories.
Memories are like flashes. I don't dwell on them or live in the past.
I process things in my mind. So if I do or say something, or if something happens, or when I hear or read certain things, I might ponder them until I fully understand them and find resolution. It took me years to understand some of my past behavior, but finally figuring it out was beneficial.
Hearing a song can bring back memories of when I first heard it or the time period during which it was popular.
Lines from old movies or songs often pop into my head in certain situations.
In order to answer certain GAG questions I have to be retrospective and answer based on past experiences or lessons I've learned.10 Reply
+1 yAll the time although nothing dramatic.
It's usually very nostalgic. Like, "Wow, that song kind of reminds me of the 80s!" "Wow, there's a new Top Gun movie? I remember the first one from the 80s!"
All sorts of things remind me of my childhood that way. Like if I eat pizza, I remember the first time I ever tried pizza as a boy in a shopping mall complete with a Dr. Pepper (also first time I tried Dr. Pepper) and I remember playing Golden Axe and Smash TV in the arcade in that shopping mall after I had my pepperoni pizza.
Then I start to remember Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since they loved pizza. "Cowabunga!" Like that.

m +1 yI am reminded of it constantly...
I do cherish it often... and smile to it
so yes, a lot of things, a lot of times make me think of the past, I however... do not entertain it for long, because I rather be present in the present and live as I do live, yeah...40 Reply
+1 yPretty often... I'll be doing random shit and then I find myself thinking about a situation I was once in and 'now' far removed from, and I'm emotionally involved in the remembrance.
I hate it because I know that I'm just milling over shit I couldn't control then and can't do shit about now. But it affects me in a very sad and pathetic way.

This is going to be hard to masturbate to. 00 Reply- 924 opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yOften throughout each day, but it is done very much in a casual way and I do not hyperfocus on it too much unless it is nostalgia.
If it is night time, then I might reflect on something negative, but that would be it and rarely during the day, so that I am productive.20 Reply
+1 yNot often...
Sometimes, the smell, sound, or sight reminds me of something, and then my thoughts linger on past events, but it doesn't happen very often.30 Replywhen i feel not content with the way things are and how if i could change some things for the better.
