When do you MASTICATE?

Simple question... When do you Masticate? And where are you when you do it?

I never counted but my favorite texture for food is very tough and chewy like hard caramel, beef jerky, squid jerky (popular here in Japan and even tougher than beef jerky), etc. I mostly masticate at home all over the place but sometimes go out to do it. Actually I have somewhat of a wide jaw which some people on here have commented about and it might come from all the mastication I do.

I tend to just masticate all over the place using my mouth. 😅

Usually twice a day, most often in privacy at home but occasionally I like to get naughty and do it in public. The risk of being caught makes it much more exciting!

If this word means "chew", then I do this about twice a day at meals. "Masticar" means to chew in Spanish, so I took a guess on that latin background.

At least three times a day; sometimes more, depending on how many times I eat.

I masticate anywhere and everywhere, at any given time of the day. I masticate in public, and in private. I sometimes masticate while operating a motor vehicle, or waiting in line. I have even have been known to go through the motions of mastication in my sleep.

I'll masticate alone or with friends and family, or even with strangers. In fact, sometimes I think masticating with a stranger can be one of the better ways to get to know them. Masticating with others can make your bonds grow as you think back fondly on all the other times you've masticated with them.

Usually 2 to 3 times a day. I am usually standing if I am at the office, to get a break away from the desk. I may go to the park down the road or on the rooftop.

When I am at home, I may pull up a chair and eat at the breakfast nook. If people are over then I'll sit at the table.
