If hating men disqualified a woman from being a feminist, there would have been a whole hell of a lot fewer feminists throughout history. Feminists like Andrea Dworkin would not have been considered one of the greatest and most visionary feminists in history. And yes, that is how she was (and still is) viewed within mainstream feminism, despite the fact that she was an unabashed hater of men. If you're not familiar with her misandry, just Google it. Today's feminists still cherish her many man-hating quotes and immortalize them on such websites as brainquote. com.

Claiming there are not a lot of man hating feminists (yes, feminists) is absurd, and counterproductive because it attempts to absolve feminism of any culpability in that problem. That's the #1 reason, by far, why no one respects feminism anymore. Feminism will either change its stance on this matter, take responsibility for it and address it, or the movement will die.

But feminism will never address the problem because it benefits from misandry, and in fact can no longer exist in the West without it. The truth is, feminism has become largely irrelevant in the West. The only way it can survive is to maintain a level of anger among women toward men, and misandry is the only tool left for feminism to do that.

Pretty much all of the above is also true of MRAs. The difference is that MRAs exist BECAUSE of feminism’s misandry. Without the latter, MRA would cease to exist.

Good question. I think they are trying to gain acceptance or make their extreme attitudes appear rational. They are dog whistling (a dog whistle is the use of coded or suggestive language in political messaging to garner support from a particular group without provoking opposition).
So they try to co-opt feminism and mra by cloaking their bitterness and hate in the language of human rights.

Those miserable people are not worth paying attention to.
