I don't know if I really like to do it. I just kind of need to do it when people I care about need help. It will hurt me if I don't. It will generally hurt me or at least impose costs on me if I do but the cost tends to be less than if I don't.

  It's not like, "Woohoo! Let's end up in a hospital today!" Or "I can't wait to loan or give someone a sum of money that will set me back for months today!" If anything, I hate it. But I need to do it when people need my help.

I do but I prefer to do it anonymously. I don't want or need a reward from them. But even when you have to do something where they know I still like helping. But saying thanks is all I want to do it.

Generally yes, I’m probably the average person in this aspect, I’ll offer to help and I don’t mind doing volunteer activities (I’ve done some here and there for school) but I don’t typically go out of my way to look for how to help
