Usually until it’s warped. The one I have currently I’m not happy with. Super sturdy but the sides have texturing and fluff stick to it.
And the design on the back is literally just a sticker. I’ve had the case for about a year now and the sticker is starting to peel so I have another one ordered because I want to pick the peeling part of the sticker

I mostly get clear cases with prints on them so... up until it becomes gray/brown lol. It just looks dirty and is most often already scratched up a lot at that point...
