What parts of life do you find difficult?

Making time for my friends I’ve made. I moved to my current area a year and a half ago and made wonderful friends that really made the transition easy for me. We would do so much fun stuff together but eventually, I met my current boyfriend and devote most of my time and attention to him. He wouldn’t mind if I go out with them, I just choose not to. It makes me feel ungrateful when they invite me to do things and I say, “no buts thanks for asking”, because someday, they’ll probably stop asking! They became like family and now I feel like I’m ditching them.
I think most people tend to get like this with their partners and find the balance between friends and partners. You're definitely not alone on that. But it's not entirely wrong either. The person who you'll likely spend most of your time with, know you the best, and potentially die with (figuratively) is your partner. So it's not a bad thing if you love spending time with them and prefer it over time with your friends.
Yeah, that’s how I feel. Every minute is precious, especially on the weekends, when most of my friends want to do things. Eventually I will make time for them and we do talk on the phone and message each other, so I do make time that way. What you wrote was really nice. 😊
Maintaining family ties.
I cannot really explain it but I’ve come to realize that some family aren’t worth keeping around because they cause more hard than good.
Just the complexity of everything. Like why do I need an accountant and collect all my big receipts to help me do my taxes in a way where I save the most money? Why is it so complicated and time-consuming? Why can't the government just calculate it for me and just tell me how much I need to pay this time?
Things like that. There's so much red tape everywhere. I just want to know where I'm supposed to go and how I'm supposed to pay without all this paperwork and complexity.
Yeah back in pioneer times we didn't need any of that nonsense. I wish that we'd go back technology-wise, but take all the good things from these times. I prefer a simpler life as well more in tune with nature.
Same. I don't mind hard work at all. I just like to know what I'm supposed to do. 😂
Raising kids was hard but I somehow managed to raise 3 successful college graduates. Finding a mate was hard but I did that too although I attribute it more to luck than anything else. Training for a career was difficult. I had to drop out of college twice. I was able to brute force my way through collegecand after a long search was able to find a good job in my field. There were a few difficult parts of life but you cannot give up when though you might want to

Drumming, I just started not that long ago and my calf muscles burn when I'm using the kick pedal. (On certain songs.) I'm learning ballet, so releves help it not hurt.
The part of losing loved ones is very difficult.
You're definitely not alone in that. But we're all going to be gone in 100 years and the whole planet will be filled with new people.
