3K opinions shared on Other topic. Oh yeah! I'm constantly switching sides to be more comfortable. I think I only rotate when a certain body part either starts hurting or maybe falls asleep. I exercise very frequently so my body is constantly dealing with inflammation to heal my muscles so I'm used to it. It's inevitable.

+1 yI once broke a bedroom window by kicking it in my sleep.
Asker+1 yLmao why was that window so low?
- +1 y
It was a room converted into a bedroom. Luckily for me, there was a heavy blackout curtain, so I didn't slash my foot on the broken glass. To make it worse, I was staying at a friend's! I was having a dream some guy attacked me in a bar, and I want to roundhouse kick him. I don't know martial arts IRL
Asker+1 yLooks like you roundhoused kicked irl tho lol

+1 yI’ve got REM Sleep Behaviour Disorder and I’m thankful I’m not walking out the door each night but I talk a lot. Whatever dream it is, I’m living it on the outside. I’d give anything for a little toss and turn so my brain can rest, but that’s not a thing for me 🥲

How did you find out you had a sleep disorder? Just curious. I’m prone to excessive movement and nightmares but I stay asleep through it.
- +1 y
@DarkCarousel you have to get a referral from your doctor for a sleep clinic. I spent several nights there so they can monitor then they go from there.
- +1 y
Did you find that you had trouble falling asleep in a strange place? I feel like that would be a factor for me.
- +1 y
@DarkCarousel I didn’t sleep the first night because you’re basically sleeping in this chamber thing that’s no larger than a twin bed. The second night, I was basically so tired and burned out I managed to put in 4hrs.

+1 yYeah. I'll find myself in different positions. Sometimes on my back and then on my stomach. Ever since I had acid reflux in the past, I had to get used to sleeping on my side. And now it seems it's the only way I can sleep and breathe.
Asker+1 yDayum, so how unbearable is the acid reflux?
- +1 y
I don't have it anymore. But when I did, I couldn't even sleep at all. It'd come right up my esophagus to my mouth. It burned. Didn't matter if I was laying flat on my back either, it still came up.
Asker+1 yHow did you get rid of it? 🤔
- +1 y
I had to get medicine from the doctor. But I have to take an acid reflux pill everyday and probably forever because of how my stomach is. It was also caused by me eating irregularly and having issues eating since certain foods would cause reflux or some other uncomfortable symptoms. I just really wanted the acid to go down and stay in my stomach.
Asker+1 ySo the pills work wonders dont they? Sounds like an unfortunate thing to live with tho
- +1 y
I do have a gassy stomach so that's the only thing that can be done for me. Last thing I was thankful for is when I finally stopped burping so much. It'd make me very sore and it'd hurt. I do still burp a lot but those are just regular normal burps, no acid.
Asker+1 yWe're u born with it?
- +1 y
No. It's just an age thing. I've always burped a lot though, for as long as I can remember.
Asker+1 yInteresting PB 🤔

+1 ynope... I wake up in the same position I fell asleep :D my ex laughed that I sleep like a corpse :D he also said he often checked at night if I still breathed :D

Asker+1 yLmao you sleep that still? That's crazy 😂
+1 yI sleep like a log. Straight and unmovable. If I'm moving, then I'm not sleeping. I am finding the right position to hibernate in.
Asker+1 yLmao hibernate, so you legit stay comfortable in one position the whole night? 😆
- +1 y
Yes, unless it's summer and the side of my body which is facing the bed gets really warm and I wake up due to feeling uneasy. If I'm not moving while sleeping, then I'm sleeping the best sleep. If I'm moving, I'm barely sleeping. It's just for the sake of resting.
Asker+1 ySounds like your sleeping has a routine or whatnot ha
- +1 y
Lol maybe
+1 yIf I'm alone yes, if I'm with someone cuddling then no.
