I literally got the car 3 weeks ago and it was like 5k dollars.. I currently only have 6k in my savings account. I really want to save up for a new one but I work part time as a cashier at Lowe’s - making me only 500 dollars biweekly. Don’t want a second job because there’s a lot going on in life.. any suggestions on how to make good money online? I do have a depop site where I sell clothes but I don’t really make a whole lot on there. I just wish I had another 5k lol I’m only 20 😢😢😢😭 just need to vent but any advice would be much appreciated.

Didn’t you have insurance? I guess it depends on location but if I were to total my car tomorrow and from what I understand based on what the broker said I would be able to find the same make and model of my car and insurance would pay out that amount. But it would probably be the cheapest amount pay out which from what I’ve found is $9k. My first car was basic insurance and didn’t cover collision or accident so I got nothing for it I’d also just made repairs replaced suspension, shocks and everything totalling about $3k and had nothing to show for it after.

Oh damn that sucks. You can try to negotiate with your insurance company but you may not get anything for the vehicle

Nothing legally. The best way to make a lot of money quickly, is to hope you win the lotto, but, you'll wind up spending more usually, than what you get, and most of it, would go to taxes

Have you tried doing oddjobs, like mowing lawns etc.. just to pick up some little extra

Insurance is a wonderful thing if you have coverage & if you don’t you are just going to have to find another vehicle & working is the way to go.

Unfortunately in life we all hit bumps in the road & as for you I know it’s annoying & you may get frustrated at times but for now you are going to have to rely on your parents for a ride just until you can save more. In life there are wants & there are needs & as for you you’re going to have to separate those two & stick to needs when it comes to buying in order to save. When it comes to work are you working part time, full time, are you going to school or what?
