"Night guard" sounds like someone you hire to keep your dreams from escaping into the real world. Man, think of what that job would be like! "So then they tied the T-handle to Scooby Doo's collar, and he pulled the wagon down the side of the pyramid while Rainbrow Brite kept throwing beets at them...".

Anyway, I have my CPAP mask (you don't wear the actual machine), and if you've ever seen one of those- that had been used for a more than a week, anyway- you'd know that the elastic band is made of some substance that makes natto look like solid steel by comparison. Mine's stretched out so much that I have to loop it twice around my head, and it's STILL loose.

My dentist has been hounding me to get a night guard. I grind my teeth a lot too.
