The complete lack of effort people put into almost anything and then their frustration that their life hasn't improved. They don't do shit to make whatever their goal is happen, and then get shocked when it doesn't happen.

Bruh...

You have to WORK to make good things happen in life. You have to invest your time and energy (and also sometimes money) into things to make them work. Wanna be happy in life? What are you doing to actually make that happen? Wanna have great friends? Are you a good friend? The list goes on...

You have to act like you give a shit.

Wow, that varies. sometimes my wife, sometimes work, other times dealing with customers/people/family. Our political system, insurance, my inability to do certain things proficiently. Life at the times when everything seems to be going wrong. Bills. just plain bad luck.

I have this mantra I always say  ‘My common sense is different from their common sense’ and it’s helped me get over a lot of situations where I could have easily been frustrated or upset.

That moment when someone wants to ask something. They feel it's harmless, helpful in fact & will be simple to answer, but it's complex & I already know that they will take the answer in the stupidest way possible (due to them having no social intelligence). So, in so many words, I'm like  "You wouldn't get it. You just think you would. Nothing needs to be said. You can't help. Telling you would only make me more frustrated with the situation as well as you."  They then figuratively swat what I said down like a basketball & assure me, in their eternally blissful ignorance, that I can totally tell them anyway, like every warning I gave them was totally wrong. If I don't tell them, they act like "Wow, what's wrong with him & his attitude?" & if I actually do tell them, everything plays out exactly like I said it would & they walk away with an answer & their curiosity greatly satisfied & I walk away 5 - 10 times more frustrated. They will go the rest of their lives thinking they made things better & never knowing they made something worse. It's good to know who these people are & avoid them at all costs.

My girlfriend will deny that we had conversations that we had, because the contents of those conversations don't support her side to whatever argument we're currently having. It can get frustrating, but overall she's pretty cool so I tolerate it.
