City Station had a low of 13.9°C, Airport Station had a low of 3.9°C at clear night.

I called the met service, asked the man if the measurements are wrong, he claims it to be correct.

Ahhh I had said it can't happen. He said it can.

I had talked about the accuracy of airport station in different time. Then the man at met service had claimed it to be correct.

I went near aiport area years ago, I put a thermometer. My thermometer had disagreed about the difference.

I will go again, I'll put thermometer again near the airport.

It's definitely possible in some areas. All kinds of things go into local temperatures. The shape of the earth in that area. The soil/rock. The vegetation. Whether there are open bodies of water. Wind currents. Etc. That's why weather is difficult to predict.

Years ago, I had put a liquid thermometer near the airport, it had showed warmer than the airport station.

I'll go and try it at clear nights again.

It is a military airport. When I got so close to aiport to measure temp with my liquid thermometer, soldiers get me away. Lol

In the midwest I've seen that temperature difference in the same location a couple hours apart. Weather can definitely vary that much
