That’s due to basic physics and radiating bodies, not so much weather. A place I used to live Lossiemouth in North of Scotland on the coast could be sunny and wearing t shirts (but still a bit cold) and Dallas could have snow and was about 10 miles away.
At Smilar elevation?
Yes..
Isn't Dallas in USA?
There is one, the original is not though
Quite a lot. Not sure how much exactly but definetely a couple degrees.
Cities stay way warmer during the night than for example fields or forests.
Anything with concrete heats up really fast when the sun shines, espacially airports where there is no shadow.
But unlike cities airports loose their heat at night rapidly, while the buildings in the city keep the heat energy stored for long time.
Suppose earth is flat and uniform throughout. Then at same elevation there is zero degree difference in temperature no matter 1 km distance or 100 km distance or 1000 km. Whatever.
