My all-time favorite is pistachio gelato, especially the Sicilian kind with roasted pistachios on top. It reminds me of wandering through small gelaterie in Rome at night, eating it slowly so it wouldn’t melt too fast in the warm air 🇮🇹🍨
I also love a simple vanilla soft serve with miso caramel drizzle for a fun Japanese twist 😍

Praline is great.
There is a shop near us that makes their own ice cream. I particularly love their Bailey's Irish Cream flavor ice cream bars with milk chocolate shells.

Other than that, I like chocolate or vanilla ice cream with fudge swirls or with hot fudge and/or caramel sauce.

I'm not that into nuts, or crunch bits in my ice cream. I like smooth ice cream. I don't want to chew it.

My favorite thing of all is a chocolate malt.

Honestly any flavor you eat in Italy specifically is otherworldly.

For a sundae, I like a traditional hot fudge, but maybe swap vanilla ice cream for Mint Chocolate Chip.

My favorite ice cream flavor as a standalone, I guess Mint Chocolate Chip is my mainstream favorite; but if we get into the specific flavors certain brands come up with, Ben & Jerry’s “Cherry Garcia” is probably my favorite. Cherry ice cream with frozen cherries and dark chocolate chunks👍👍
