Basically simp has been VERY overused to refer to anyone sentimental or kind and gentle. I believ the original meaning was just equivalent to being a doormat or sniveling wimp, however as with everything the meaning warped over time and as a result of lower level vocabulary training….

  The definitions of everything change over time. Just like how I used to consider the term woke as being a good thing when it started being used earlier around 2015. Then it was tossed around social media to have the negative connotation it has today.

I guess it is a guy who is nice to women not because he is genuinely kind, but to get in her pants. If a guy is mean to men, children, and unattractive women when attractive women aren't around to see it, he is one.
