Only administrators will be able to change your name provided that the name you chose is not already taken by someone else. However, I have never heard that administrators effectively changed someone's name because of a spelling mistake.

Your best (and probably only) option is to cancel this account and create a new one. If you keep this account AND create a new one, you will have duplicate accounts and GaG will most likely cancel the second one you created.
