oh and both without training. all other factors equal.
Fighting ability has zero to do with fight nor much with strength contrary to what most people believe.
A person that knows how to position themselves correctly while throwing a punch or kick with balance and knows how to angle themselves for leverage is a person that knows how to fight vs someone that's just throwing wild blows hoping to hit something and even if they do the impact of their blows won't hurt as much because they don't know how to balance themselves to land an effective blow.

Rocky Marciano may be the greatest "heavyweight" of all time. He was actually a Cruiserweight. 5'10", 187 lb. He was just fast and smart. Japanese Naoya Inoue (the Monster) is like that. So was Manny Pacquiao. Their skill level and lethality were well beyond their size.
The guy would have an advantage if all things are equal.
If they are fighting, they are both losers.

height has little do with winning a fight...
it's just going by looks... but that tall guy's knee looks like it could not take more than one very good kick by any decent trained fighter, I'm sure he would not be able to walk after a second good hit, lol
Taller guy would have more reach, which is a clear advantage. If they have the same muscle mass, then the taller guy would weigh more, which means he would have more power as well.
Since they're both not trained in any technique, anything could happen, but the taller guy would more than likely dominate the shorter guy.Height correlates with wingspan/striking range which is a clear advantage.
The short guy would win if it's a scrawny tall guy. Equal muscle mass on the body would make the tall guy look weak by comparison.
But a buff tall guy would beat the buff short guy 9 times our of 10 unless the short guy has combat training. thevonly short guy advantage I can think of comes in gymnastics--which would only help if you're a ninja.Talent, technique and experience in a fight will overcome strength and mass everytime. In combat sports, we have weight classes because it's assumed that technique and talent are equal so then weight and strength become a factors.
No joke, a shorter guy can just kick a taller guy in the balls. It's not possible for a taller guy to do that unless he's crouching. I think even a little girl can just kick a tall guy in the balls. Once that happens then you can beat them up. Kick in the balls hurts like hell
The taller guy, almost every time
The reach advantage would be massive, as well as the ability to effectively use uppercuts, and the punch swing will be longer, allowing the taller man to hit much harder, despite strength being similarWhoever is the better fighter though the taller guy is naturally going to have the advantage due to his extended reach. So it could go either way.
If we are talking hypothetically and both where equal in every way skill weight speed agility etc. and the only factor was height
Standing the tall guy would have more reach
The short guy more power
On the ground
Short guy will have a advantage more maneuverable.
Watch college wrestling taller bodies do have a disadvantage when a weight class is incorporated
Some great fights going on overseas with the larger vs smaller fighters definitely check it out.Tall guy has reach. Short guy would have to get in on the inside maybe take it to the ground.
With equal fighting experience, big guy would win
Unlike Hollywood, size does matter in a fightWould depend on who has the will to win, most people would expect the tall guy to win , but if the shorter guy has the will, aka 'the fight', he could take the fight to the tall guy and win.
5’7 to 6’1 isn’t THAT big a difference, and height is far from the biggest factor.
In boxing it’s called „reach“. What can a smaller guy do, when the larger guy can hit him, but his own reach is too short to hit back?
I think a guy with more mass has and edge. But it isn't a significant edge. It ain't the dog in the fight it's the fight in the dog.
If a guy has a substantial reach advantage they can grab you by the shirt and you can't hit them back as they are hitting you.
If everything else is equal, the tall guy wins. Height gives better leverage.
The tall guy would have the reach so in a fist fight he would have the advantage
The dude with the fighting ability and/or training.
Height doesn't matter.
