Who would win, a strong muscular guy at 5’5-5’6 or a stronger taller guy at 6’2 or 6’3?

Say do you realistically think a guy at that height who is freakishly strong to beat or throw around as in manhandle a guy taller than them who is also strong in their own right in a physical fight?

This is almost like the Short Hulk vs the taller Abomination but nothing in comparison to fictional character but hypothetically asking, what are your opinions?

The taller guy would win unless the short muscle man happened to also be a highly skilled martial artist or something. Height just gives a lot of advantages in a fight. Especially when the difference is that much.

I can remember watching WWE many years ago and it was a match between Rey Mysterio Jr and The Big Show. Now, Ray Mysterio is about 5 foot and The Big Show is about 7 foot and weighs more than 400 pounds. Rey Mysterio Jr won the match! That’s when I thought WWE had jumped the shark. I’ve never really watched it since.

At this point it would be about skill.. At the same skill, the taller guy would probably win.. If they are around the same strength... It could honestly go either way.. But if a strong tall guy were to face an expert short guy fighter.. Rest assure, that short guy is laying the tall dude out..

It depends on their skill and how they train. Big muscles, doesn't necessarily mean strong muscles. For example look at these videos of a professional arm wrestler that trains strength by arm wrestling other arm wrestlers vs a bunch of gym brows that take supplements and body build at the gym... The best way to get good at arm wrestling is arm wrestling because your build strength endurance and learn to chain muscle groups together just like a boxer throwing a punch. It's not always how big the muscle is, it's how efficient the muscle is and how well coordinated it is with other muscle groups. In fighting the same is true regardless if it is boxing or wrestling. If take the time to learn the moves in any fight sport, you have that knowledge, but you really only get good by fighting other people. The more you fight, the better you chain those muscles together, the more efficient those muscle get at particular movements, so on and so forth. All things being equal, having a weight class advantage will win you fights, but all things are generally not equal...

If a guy that short knows Muay Thai, it won't matter that much how tall you are... you can say goodbye to your knees right away

Height can be a hindrance or a helper. If basketball, boxing or MMA, a taller athlete can have an advantage due to reach, but in wrestling or MMA, a shorter athlete can have a lower center of gravity which can be an advantage
