This morning LAPD managed a really dangerous situation involving a car chase that ended up on the 405 with NO injuries. Impressive!

The woman was driving a van and at some points chasing the cops in their car. They handled this really well with no injuries and no violence. The cops would have been justified in shooting this woman and they instead just avoided her and then captured her - again with no violence. Great work!

Sane police departments have stopped these chases all together. Get the tags, basic description of driver and if air support available use that. Safer for all

The thing is she was really out of control before this chase began - fighting with people, throwing stuff at houses, things like that. Totally unsafe.

If it was just some traffic thing or she had not been so aggressive and threatening, they wouldn't have chased her.

The cops get it right most of the time. The fake news only covers the times that they don't.

Near where I live a woman and her daughter was attacked by a fox. The daughter was bitten and the mother called the cops and held onto the fox until they showed up. The cops shot the fox and all rhe do goodness came out and called the cops fascists. The chief announced that they did not know whether the fox was rabid or not but the only way to tell involves killing the fox. The chief explained he is supposed to protect the public and killing a fox to save a life is part of the job It turns out the fox tested positive for rabies.

She was trying to ram their cars. She was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Honestly, it's most of the time. There's always room for improvement.

Cops USUALLY get it right. It's their egregious actions, disproportionately against POC which cause the anti-cop sentiment.

Yes indeed it was totally unexpected and actually was something that brightened up my morning. Usually the LAPD does terrible things. I think having these helicopters overhead the entire time probably helped.
