Why do some people give cops a hard time?

Officers have discretion they can ticket you, even arrest you and impound your vehicle, or let you go with a warning for speeding (depends on the state and how fast over).

Sure maybe there are some cops who are asses. Maybe they aren’t as reasonable or ticket you for something stupid. But take it to court and argue it there. The more disrespectful you are the less likely a judge is to take your side.

Im not saying that someone needs to tell the police incriminating information. Someone can both know their rights and be respectful all in one. If they have a problem lay it out in court.

Probably because they can make up any reason they want to throw you in the clink and they can shoot you dead with zero consequences.

They are turn keys and boot-lickers. Nothing more.

In all of my many years that I’ve known cops as well as interacted with them in both an off duty interaction as well as in their official duties, I can say with complete and total honesty that not once has a cop ever helped me out. They’ve handed out tickets and fines, and took a report when I was burglarized ( more than once) but not once have they ever helped me.

People give cops a hard time because they really don't like the laws their local and state goverment gave said cops to enforce.

Take it to court, where the judges almost always side with them anyways.

Some cops maybe a little. But I’ve met plenty of reasonable ones as well. A lot of people don’t interact with the majority of cops. Unless it’s for some type of traffic violation or they’re w witness or victim.

I’ve met cops before who can count on one hand how many tickets they have given, I’ve met others who have written 30 in a shift.

Even the good cops are useless. Even good cops will cover for the bad cops. Cops can literally get away with murder. I don't see any reason I have to respect them.

My house was broken into and they seemed annoyed when I was telling them what was taken. Cops are useless and I'll never call them again.
