No, no, no! Certainly not. It's crazy to me that so many people would say "yes". All my instincts tell me to say no, that no is the only rational choice, that anything other than an unequivocal "no" means that I have let myself be guided by emotions rather than reason, that I am too easily swayed, that I rush in where angels fear to tread, that I trust too easily, that I'm simply a yes-man, and that I just want to be part of the "in-crowd". Just say no! There is so much more to be said about this. I have found in my experience that a lot of people like to say "no", so it can be better to phrase inquiries in such a way that a "no" answer furthers one's own aims. For example, rephrasing "May I ask you a couple of questions?" as "Would you mind if I were to ask you a couple of questions?" may make the person more willing to be asked a couple more questions (or, at any rate, at giving consent to be asked). There is power in words. "No" means no. Judge not lest ye be judged. It may reek of negativity, but sometimes what seems negative is simply realistic. The problem may arise, though, when someone sees you as a person who simply says no to all questions, and being too fond of rejecting things, ideas, and people without giving them a sufficient chance to make their case.

I went with no. The last time I said yes without knowing what i was agreeing to, I landed up almost getting caught doing something dodgy (Nothing to do with cheating on anyone)
