Oh man, that sounds so stressful about your sister. I can't imagine how worried you must feel. It's totally normal to cry in a situation like this too. Losing your mom and now being afraid for your sister, that's so much to deal with.
A few things I would try:
- Sit down with your sister and have a really serious talk about how worried you are. Tell her straight up that you can't lose her too. Explain that you just want to help her get better.
- Ask to go to her doctor appointment with her. That way you can hear from the doctor directly about her diagnosis and treatment options. Doctors sometimes listen more when family is involved.
- Offer to help her with rides to/from treatments or appointments if she agrees to go. Removing logistical barriers could help convince her.
- As hard as it is, try not to force her or demand things. That might make her pull away more. Come at it from a place of love and concern instead.
- Spend time with her doing fun activities you both enjoy, to take her mind off things occasionally too. Laughter and happiness can help the healing process.
I know it's so scary, but don't give up hope. Keep calmly and gently encouraging her to prioritize her health. And make sure to take care of yourself during this too. Don't be afraid to lean on other friends/family for support when you need it. I hope things work out okay for your sister - you seem like a really caring sibling.
Don’t over think about it , I swear life is full of surprises you just need to enjoy moments with her and stop thinking about the future ☺️ it’s my secret for a peaceful life💐
