Would giving women free merch be a good promotion tactic?

Hold up hear me out, I don't have a clothing brand just yet but the idea seems effective, cause attractive women most likely get a lot of eyes Everytime they go out and if they wear my shit, then my merch would be second in line after her, let's not forget usually clothing is a good Convo starter or topic to reach when hitting on a woman so people saying my shit looks good on them while shooting their shot would bring attention to my clothes, all I gotta do is tell the girl where she can get more if she ever decides to get more and if people ask these women, they will point them to the source where I told them they can get more 🤔😏

I'm also aware that women look at other women too so I'd have both genders attention to my shit 😌

You have a mostly good idea but the "give free merch" mentality is poison to a fashion brand because the whole point is to make something worthless seem like it's worth a lot.

You would benefit from giving your clothes to specific people at specific events.

If you think your clothes will hit it off with the hip-hop crowd, find one of those events where they have the tables selling weed and small artists go up on the stage. The venue will almost always make sure they look like ballars by supplying them with woman and bottle service. Get your clothes on those guys and let the venue pay all your other advertising costs.

If you think people who fish a lot will be your main customers, go to a boat convention, find out who the "cool" people are and figure out what they're going to need to wear your clothes. Go to a fishing contest or a powers port event and get the winners to associate with your brand.

It helps to have accessories with some kind of recognizable design like a logo or color scheme.

I'm not going to give everything away, just a limited amount to very stunning women, so they can walk around with it, it's like hiring models but without the hiring part 😂

Then when they tell the person where to find it, the person can see the prices of the items and buy it if they want it lol

I can start by asking for their actual opinion about the clothes and if I see they are genuine that they like it, I'll give it to them, if they actually like it, they will wear it and if they wear it they will bring more attention to it

First off most merch isn't always the most stylish and what hot beautiful woman is going to guarantee that she'll even wear as you call it yoursrlf your shit. This is part of what I do for work. Why do you think companies like Addidas or Nike pay me to negotiate and get signed contracts with celebrities that locks them in and they have to wear their brand for x numbers of years and no other brand during the period of the contract.
