I could write a very thick book about all the things I just cannot make sense of. One example: the professed willingness that many have to die for a cause, or their country. Wouldn't it make far more sense to continue to live for a cause or country? You only have one life, and when that's gone you're gone forever. It's just really, really stupid, because there is NO country or cause that is that important.

Here's another example: the addiction to technology, especially 'smartphones'. I understand addiction as a concept, and that many are predisposed to become hooked on whatever it is that grabs them, but to spend... no, WASTE one's life just staring at a screen all day and taking 'selfies' to me just seems idiotic in the extreme.

I thought work outs were weird when I was a kid cause I had a low pain tolerance and I did not know why some many people voluntarily chose to expose themselves to so much hardship just to look good.

I've read cases where the woman just snapped because of the father of her child didn't want anything to do with her so she put them in the oven to die
