I would fight Mike Tyson without a weapon if it was no holds barred. I’m skilled enough in jiu jitsu and mma that I would attack his legs. I would heel hook him all day long. If I took his back it would be curtains for him.

Sure I would get boo’d for not standing and boxing with him. I would butt scoot to catch his legs. But in a death match virtually nobody would want to trade punch’s with a prime Mike Tyson. Hell no. This is about survival.

The rest of those animals I wouldn’t even think of facing unless I had a shotgun. Even then I wouldn’t do it. Hippos would be the most dangerous.

@handsomelad70 and @blueonblack22. I have several years of different Martial Arts training inc Krav Maga and Systema, but I wouldn't pick a fight with Tyson unarmed, even at his age. Too many people over the years have underestimated him, to their cost!

@handsomelad70 @TommyMountainFigure I would love to see Jake Paul get KTFO. But I’m not delusional. We are talking about a 27 year old vs 57 year old. Paul is well trained and has real experience too. That’s not to say I’m a fan because I’m not at all.

But I’m realistic. Nostalgia is a very poor predictor of fight outcomes.

Do you remember a few years ago, Stallone put together a group of wannabe fighters, and then whittled them down to fight for the World Title against the Welsh Guy (I forgot his name) I know there is a world of difference between a current world champ and a 58 year old EX world champ. Tyson will have lost speed and agility, but he has 2 things Jake Paul will never have. Knowledge of being the most feared guy on the face of the planet, and the skills which made him that!

But round 3 and on I could see Tyson tiring out and then Paul will completely take over. I just hope Tyson doesn’t get hurt. That would be a very painful sight to see.

Funny nobody voted silverback gorilla. Those things are insanely strong and have sharp teeth and a bite force. You would need to hit their skull perfectly with a sledge hammer to win that. Your dead otherwise. It would snap your neck easily.

I get what you're saying about the longer the fight goes on, but you have to remember, Tyson will not have forgotten any of the dirty tricks he learned in getting to be World Champ. He will know how to improvise and adapt in such a way, the likes of which his opponent will only ever watched on TV. There is no substitute for experience!

I still play a lot of Rugby and train hard in the gym (at home) every day. I've maybe lost a couple of yards of pace over time, but I'm playing against the guys I've played with for years, so as I've slowed they have also. lol. As for sparing, no I just do lots of bag work.

Tyson is a human. Humans are by far the worst one to fight, they are smart and know how to use your own tools against you. Swing that bat he grabs it off you and bam your gone. Try get close with a sma blade? Yeah good luck.

All animals would be a better choice, as those animals don't have that understanding. And a bear with a spear? We did that all the time in the past. That's how we hunted them. So easy take.

Also just give me a chair and I'll defeat a lion. Lions get easily confused by a chair thinking of it as 4 separate entities, so they backdown. Hence why they used chairs to keep lions from attacking them in shows.

I was thinking like this but the statement "Bloodlusted" changed my opinion, and I went for Tyson (with bat).
To me, "bloodlusted" means charging in without thought, and in those cases, the animals overpower you, maybe taking a single stab or blow, but the human loses the advantage you aptly illustrate.

Humans are still far more unpredictable and tyson can take a blow from a bat or a stab in his prime and be fine.
Wild animals however have predictive instinct which one can use it against it. Humans by nature try to overcome and defeat their own instincts that's how we got where we are today.
These other animals don't they are pretty much hardwired.

The only one where the weapon combination works in my favor is the spear, from there you just need a general understanding of bear anatomy, take out a couple of eyes and as they rear back hope the spear is sharp enough to plunge through blubber and take out the heart.

You're absolutely f*cked with any of those weapons aside from the spear. You *might* get lucky with the Katana against a lion, but it is poorly suited for that fight, and there's a strong chance it could still overpower and kill you even with a fatal wound. Yet the spear is paired with by far the most dangerous animal on this list.

Hippos are responsible for more deaths than any other animal, so I'll pass on fighting a hippo. Mike Tyson would punch me into nothingness. A male lion would eat me and a gorilla is much stronger than me.

I might have a chance at the chimp, but they are so close to us humans in every way, that would be like killing my brother.

That leaves the polar bear. Maybe I can get lucky with the spear and take it down before it gets close to me.
