But i’m in Cali now and i think the Yellowstone eruption would end things quickly for us.

Damn! I grew up in an area with regular tornado activity in my youth. I’ve since experienced a few rumbles of the ground beneath my feet. I was on a bridge in Rio Vista, California for a little shake & bake action. I’ve never been anywhere near an active volcano. No idea what that would be like.
