Maybe the 1900-1910 decade.

There were horses, carriages, wagons and trollies. There were even cable cars and electric streetcars.

With the founding of the Ford Motor Company in 1903, the age of the automobile was underway. There were other automobiles, including steam and electric, too.

By 1900, telephones were in wide use. Cities were being electrified. Moving pictures were a curiosity. Guglielmo Marconi was conducting experiments that would lead to the development of the radio, and the Wright brothers were at work on a heavier-than-air flying machine.

Victorian architecture was prominent.

Cities were growing. New wealth and devastating fires produced a boom in urban construction. Architects Richardson, Hunt, McKim, Mead, and White flourished; Sullivan pioneered the skyscraper.

The Brooklyn Bridge was 17 years old and the Statue of Liberty was only 14 years old in 1900.

What decade would you visit if you could?

There was “small town USA” with steepled churches, white picket fences, a park with a bandstand, women with bonnets and petticoats, men with straw hats or derbies, children riding bicycles.

Western towns, saloons and cowboys. The wild west.

The 1904 St. Louis World Fair with amazing new innovations and technology.

Tall ships still in use, along with steamers.
Paddle wheelers on rivers.

The transcontinental railroad with steam locomotives.

Farms, dairies, ranches, wide open spaces.

I'd like to see that stuff in real life instead of in movies.

No bio engineering or agricultural poisons. No chemtrails.

William McKinley, William Jennings Bryan, Theodore ("Teddy") Roosevelt.
Eastern industrialism versus agrarian populism.
The rise of organized labor against sweat shops, factories and mining companies.

Very interesting times.

If I could be invisible (for safety and better chance to really look around) I'd go way back in time. But just a couple decades? Maybe the 1920's or earlier and watch my great grandfather race cars.
