The nearest shop from our house is a bakery or a bycleshop. They are in different directions but distance speaking really close.
Bakery is great, Not a big chain but small and has a few other food articles as well.
The bikeshop is a father son shop and I have never been disapointed by them. If you nerd repairs or replacement they can do it.

Run by two fabulous and humorous ladies in their mid-time age.

They don't have everything; but the essentials are there - including fresh stuff from around the area - served with a family-like atmosphere :)

There is a little shopping center about mile from my house. I never buy anything there because it is mostly nail salons, boutique clothing and other stuff I have no interest in. there used to be a cool old general store that was next door but it closed during covid and never reopened. It will be demolished soon and somebody will build more junky stores.

I live in a rural area, but there is a gas station with a large mini-mart less than six miles (10 minutes) from my door.

There are a few convenience stores downstairs of our building. They’re alright. Kinda overpriced for the convenience

To the local shopping center, but what’s the point carrying five bags of groceries under your arm walking 3/4 of a mile especially with water jugs
