Are there 24 hour stores where you live?

None here besides gas stations. We used to have grocery stores and places like Walmart and Meijer open 24 hours before covid. They started closing at night to "clean". Now that it's all over, they haven't gone back to staying open. It sucks because I work nights and keep the same schedule all the time, for the most part. There's nothing open on my nights off work.

Not any more. Business had been looking to stop being open around the clock for years; the lockdowns were just an excuse. And an obviously stupid one; if there's a ragingly contagious disease going around (which there was- and is, come to think of it), forcing everyone to do their shopping at the same time would lead to MORE cases, not less.

No. Its illegal. Everything has to close down for at least an hour. Usually this is used for cleaning the store, for those who actually want their store to be open as long as possible.

I am not sure. There might have been in the past but there has been dealers and assaults and murders at night. I don’t feel safe going home by myself at night the way I used to when I would bus or walk twice a week after church service.

Yes, they are but I don't go there. I'm usually at home at night.

Kmart is open 24/7 except Christmas day and Easter Sunday. Kmart is very popular in Australia
