Have you ever used the phrase 'chefs kiss' before?

I been hearing this said quite often lately. seems to be really catching on.

Have you said it?

Chefs kiss: a movement in which you put your fingers and thumb together, kiss them, then pull your hand away from your lips as a way of showing that you think that something or someone is perfect or excellent:

She tasted the sauce and gave it a chef's kiss.

Those days when you've stayed out late but still wake up feeling fresh and full of energy are truly a chef's kiss.

Oh HELL yes! It’s my go-to move & saying when someone performs an act of such tremendous dumb-assery, that mere words alone just seen wholly inadequate for the situation! Actually doing the “chefs kiss” while saying “Oh chefs kiss for that one!” Is such an excellent way to illustrate a point without saying too much! I don’t want to dilute the sheer impact of the chefs kiss, so I have to be very judicious with its use. I need the person to KNOW that what they just did or said, was like next-level, fourth dimensional stupidity!

Although not a real example (I would never publicly humiliate someone in an open forum like this, but a fairly close example would be if someone walked up to a person I know, and said something like “Oh my God, Susan! I just found out that your sister died last night! I am so sorry for your loss, that's just so sad, and such a waste. I mean she was just SO unbelievably hot!” Now, as soon as I heard him say that, I would most definitely reply with doing it, then saying "oh, chef's kiss for that one Tony! Hey, be honest… Did you rehearse that one? Or does that level of being a dumbass just come naturally to you?

I've never heard that name for it, but I've seen it done my entire life. It's an Italian thing, usually accompanied by the sound "Mmmmwha!"
