Cats are sociable and affectionate (unless they are feral,) and much lower maintenance than dogs. I can place a big bowl of water, a big bowl of food, and a clean litter pan on the floor and leave my cat for 2-3 days and he is fine. And he NEVER tears up ANYTHING!

You can't do that with a dog.

I like dogs. However I don't have one. I like taking off on spur-of-the-moment trips and it would be too hard to find care for the dog on that quick of a basis.

Of course a cat, but if I were to choose anything else I would probably get something small like a mini pig, a bearded dragon, or a prairie dog maybe.

Othr, (a snail like a mystery snail). I'm allergic 2 fur n feathers. Plus I've owned fish so I could probably care 4 a watr snail 🐌 right. They don't need as much time as some othr pets.

  She lives in town, but it's a small town and they are on the outskirts with no close neighbors. She just has a few chickens and a couple ducks. She's only 11, so that's her hobby lol
