If you were to perform as a music artist or sport competitor, would you prefer big stadium shows or smaller intimate venues?

Why?

On one hand bigger might mean a bigger show. On the other hand smaller might mean more focused on the smaller crowd?

Big stadiums usually mean big turn out, and actual seating. Which equates to more financial gain; but it also means that tickets are differently prices and sometimes unfairly priced (but that also depends on how popular the artist is p! nk floor and stage seats are like $1500+ per ticket) smaller venues fill up quicker, get hotter and often times don’t have any seating so everyone is crowded. But the acoustics are phenomenal. Went to see skillet last month and the concert was in a small hall, great sound but I’m a short person and everyone there was a foot or more taller than me. Also lots of bumping and stepping on peoples feet.

Small halls, theaters, and clubs are best for live shows. Big arena shows are overpriced nightmares.
